The massive AUS-AID funded construction of the modern and state-of-the-art Wabag Market is nearing completion, in the Enga Province. 

The redevelopment and construction of the Wabag Market has been made possible through a K13 million Australian Aid grant secured by the Minister for Fisheries and Marine Resource and Wabag Open MP Dr Lino Tom. 

The official ground breaking ceremony of this impact project had been done in February 17, 2020 with the development project expected to be completed and in use before the 2022 National General Elections. 

Coffey International Development Pty Limited is the managing contractor of the Incentive Fund Phase 4 (IF4) Program on behalf of the Australian Government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) managing this massive,impact project with construction work being executed by Hornibrooks PNG Limited. 

The Wabag Open electorate, and the whole of Enga Province has been without a proper market facility for over a decade, and Dr Lino Tom is wholeheartedly committed to bringing much needed service and development for his people that can last generations.
