Two school students are in critical condition after a bus load of Badihagwa students crashed around four hours ago.

Following the crash, FM100 NEWS went to the scene, and witnessed the car wreckage. Its reported that the driver of the vehicle is dead.

The accident occurred near Badi roundabout at Hanubada in the National Capital District, as the bus was descending from the freeway. Its alleged the vehicle had a break failure, however FM100 NEWS is still  waiting for confirmation from police.

FM100 NEWS spoke with the school’s deputy head teacher, Mrs Mara Pena, who describes the accident ‘a tragedy’.

She says the school is being shut down today, and is calling on all parents and guardians to come pick up their students. The school is refusing to allow its students to travel alone in any other public motor vehicle.

Details are sketchy right now, but FM100 NEWS s is currently liaising with the St. Johns Ambulance to find out more on the status of the injured students, as the story progresses.
